Should it be necessary to manually unlock the automatic transmission of the Jaguar XF, here are the steps to be performed in sequence: - first remove the cover plate positioned between the armrest and the cup holder (the plate is interlocking); - insert a coin into the slot, turn anticlockwise for a quarter of a turn, pull the red strap so as to rotate the lever towards the driver's seat; - now the gear lever is unlocked so that the car can be moved easily.
