Let's see in this short guide the cause of the problem of the Nissan Altima idle speed; in particular this happens when the engine is hot and when the coolant temperature exceeds 90 degrees. The cause of the problem would be a faulty air intake sensor; to reset the problem it is therefore necessary to disconnect the battery terminals for a couple of minutes. In this way the control unit will go into self-learning and the parameters will be reset and brought to zero, solving the problem.
