If your problem is a Jaguar XK soft top that does not close completely and consequently the close button does not react to closing or opening, you will have to close the soft top manually. To close the hood of the Jaguar it is necessary to use an Allen key no. 8and apply it in the small hole above the rearview mirror. Inside the mirror, there is a mechanical control that opens the hook. To close it again, simply pull up the hood and lock it again after it has worked.
