Changing the oil and filter in the Honda Hornet.

Before proceeding with the replacement of the engine oil and filter of our Honda Hornet, we place our bike, on the stand, in a stable and safe position, so that we can work on it without risk for our safety. Once this has been done, place a small basin under the engine block and, using the appropriate wrench, unscrew the bleed hole bolt, letting the old oil drain out. Now, after having protected the exhaust manifolds with cardboard, we unscrew, with the suitable wrench, the oil filter, located on the front of the engine block, and replace it with the new filter. At this point, we close the bleed hole, open the opening for oil pouring and pour approximately 3.8 liters of oil into the engine. This is the maximum amount contained in it. The amount marked on the dipstick should be at the max mark if the engine is cold.
