If the battery in your car key is completely flat and needs replacing, simply follow these quick and easy steps. First, press the small button on the back cover and remove the physical emergency key. Then, using a flat screwdriver, detach the back cover from the top one, and you will have access to the battery underneath. Remove it and replace it with a compatible new one. Finally, correctly reposition the two parts of the cover and insert the physical key back into the compartment.
