How to Install LED Lighting on the Gear Selector of the Honda Brio

Model: Honda Brio MK 2 - Years 2018-2025

If you intend to customize your vehicle by installing backlighting on the automatic gear selector, follow the mounting instructions below and refer to the video. First, remove the clips from the plastic panels on the sides of the gear selector, then remove the screw securing the center console and use a plastic lever to lift the panel under the handbrake. Next, remove the entire center console, being careful of the electrical connectors underneath that need to be disengaged. This will give you access to the gear selector trim, which you will lift to remove the plastic profile with the gear indicator. Then, take an LED strip, cut it to size, and position it at the back of the gear selector. Finally, reassemble all components in reverse order.
