You can replace the remote battery on a Škoda Karoq by sliding the key out from the top of the device. Once removed, leverage inside its housing to detach the rear panel.

After this panel is removed, you will have access to the underlying battery, which needs to be extracted from its seat. Now, position the new battery and cover it with the panel, then insert the key and check that everything functions correctly.
