Descriptive guide for replacing the engine oil and oil filter of a 2009 Suzuki GSXR 750. Get 3LT of Motul 7100 sae 10w40 oil, Champion COF038 oil filter. Place the motorcycle on the side stand. Place a container for the recovery of the oil to be disposed of under the engine. Unscrew the engine oil drain plug, located at the bottom left side of the engine, with the aid of a ratchet, an extension and a 17mm socket. Let all the oil drain. In the meantime, carefully clean the cap. Unscrew the screws of the front right fairing with a 4mm Allen key. With a band wrench, unscrew the oil filter located in front of the engine between the exhaust manifolds. Wet the gasket of the new filter with a little oil and screw it, first by hand, then by one turn with the band wrench. Screw in the oil drain plug. Open the oil filler neck located on the engine crankcase, right side at the top. Pour in the three liters of oil. Start the engine, let it warm up and switch off.
