Today we will see how to replace the transmission kit on the Suzuki GSF 1250. To perform the replacement, lift the rear wheel so that it can turn freely, loosen the rear wheel chain to disconnect it from the sprocket. Remove the rear sprocket and the front sprocket by unscrewing the nut. Unscrew the bolts to remove the rear sprocket and fit the new one, tightening to the same number of teeth on the belt. After fitting the rear sprocket, ensure it is aligned and tightened to the torque specified in the manual. Pass the chain around the sprocket and then move the wheel until you achieve the correct play of 20-30 mm tightened towards the axle. Lubricate the chain along its entire length by spinning the wheel to distribute the grease well. After fitting the chain and ensuring it runs freely, fit the cover and lower the vehicle to perform a short road test. It is important to lubricate the chain every 1,000 miles, especially if the vehicle is often used in dirty and wet conditions.
