If the ignition does not come on, and you cannot even start the engine, it is very likely that the battery is completely discharged. In this case it is sufficient to try the ignition through the classic procedure which consists in connecting the battery to that of another car, or to a portable emergency starter. It is advisable to have the alternator checked by a professional, as this may be the cause of the lack of charge in the battery. If the problem with the panel is not related to the battery, instead, it is necessary to carry out a thorough check by qualified personnel, since the causes can be manifold.
