The AdBlue liquid is a special liquid which drastically reduces the emissions of nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere, through its nebulisation in the exhaust system. The low level warning light will appear for the first time about 2000 km before exhaustion. You can then proceed with topping up through the specific inlet located next to the fuel filler. Driving with exhausted AdBlue fluid is both prohibited by law and not physically permitted by the vehicle.
