Why do the mirrors of my Renault Kadjar not close?

On your Renault Kadjar it may happen that the mirrors start to open, but then they remain closed, or do not open fully. This problem occurs when the car is cold and if it is raining. Basically it seems that the ignition control unit cuts the power supply to the accessory services to avoid voltage drops and since the impulse of the module has already reached the mirrors, consequently they are already open for him and therefore remain halfway. This fault can be resolved by updating the control unit to prevent it from cutting power to the mirrors. Or alternatively, bring the power supply directly to the mirrors but it is not recommended to avoid the risk of invalidation of the guarantee.
