Answer

In the third generation Mini Cooper, f55, f56, f57 and f60, the battery is hidden under the black plastic bulkhead located to the right in the engine compartment, up towards the windshield. It is possible to see a red cap, it is in fact the cap that covers the positive pole of the battery, while the negative pole is located to its right, outside the plastic bulkhead. If you want to remove the battery, remove the three visible bolts plus 6 other clips.
