Briefly, here are the instructions to disassemble and replace the battery of the Mini Cooper key remote. First, take the remote in hand and start by removing the physical key from inside it; then pry on the sides of the remote to open it into two parts, as shown in the video. This way, you will have access to the electronic board and the battery; remove the battery and replace it with a new one of the same type. Insert the battery in the correct orientation and reassemble the two halves of the remote!
