What do the lights on the Ford Ranger dashboard mean?

On the Ford Ranger instrument panel, the warning lights may have these colors: red indicate an imminent danger; amber yellow a danger that will manifest itself shortly; green indicates a service in operation, white is information, and the only blue light concerns the operation of the high beams. For example, if a red light with a circle with an exclamation point in the center comes on while driving, check that the parking brake is released. If not, there is a malfunction in the brake system or that the brake fluid level is low. These are very dangerous situations that need to be checked immediately.
