How to reset the oil warning light on a Ford Ranger

In this guide, learn how to turn off the service light on a Ford Ranger: there are no buttons to press, just follow a simple procedure. With the ignition completely off, press the brake and accelerator pedals fully down. While keeping both pedals pressed, turn on the ignition and wait for about twenty-five seconds. When the warning light indicator flashes, turn off the ignition and release both pedals at the same time. Wait for two minutes, then turn the instrument cluster back on to check that the warning light is now off.
