The inertia switch is the device which deactivates the fuel pump in the event of a collision both to stop the engine and to prevent fuel leaks that could set the vehicle on fire; on the 206 this switch is located behind the front left shock absorber dome, next to the brake fluid reservoir: it can be recognized by the red mushroom shape.
