How do you program the window regulators of the Mercedes W210?

Answer

After disconnecting the power battery, the window control buttons lose their programming for automatic lowering and raising: to reprogram them, simply press the button to lower the window and hold it down for another 10 seconds after it has fully descended; similarly, press the button to raise the window and hold it down for another 10 seconds after it has fully closed.
