Below are the steps to remove and replace the window switch on a Mercedes E-Class. First, open the door and start unscrewing the screws securing the lock; then remove the side plastic cover by unscrewing the additional screws on the door panel until you can detach and remove it, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the electrical connector of the window switch and the handle cable; this way, you can remove and replace the window switch, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!
