When the coolant warning light comes on it means that it has reached a too high temperature and therefore it is better to stop and let the engine rest, bringing the coolant back to a safe temperature. Sometimes, however, this error consists only in an error of the control unit, which detects a higher temperature of the aforesaid liquid than the real one.
