Replacing the Crankshaft Position Sensor

Model: Vauxhall Corsa Corsa C - Years 2000-2006

If the crankshaft position sensor is damaged, the engine may not start as the ECU cannot execute the correct injection sequences; additionally, the engine warning light will illuminate on the dashboard, storing error P0335. Replacing this sensor is straightforward and it can also be purchased aftermarket. The sensor is located just above the driveshaft and is easier to access from underneath the engine bay: disconnect the relevant connector, unscrew the fixing bolt, extract it from its seat using a screwdriver, and insert the new sensor, tightening the bolt and reconnecting the connector.
