How do you time an XER engine in an Opel Corsa 1.2? For this operation, you will need some gauges, which are templates used to check the dimensions or the holes of a mechanical part. You can find the complete kit on sitosilippettisrl.it. The code you need is art. 2437. As shown in the video, place a gauge on the back of the cams, positioning the cuts as demonstrated. The other gauge locks the two rings of the variators. The third gauge locks the crankshaft by placing the plug under the air conditioning unit. Unscrew the plug (55 Torx), set the first cylinder to top dead centre, and lock the crankshaft.
