The crankshaft sensor is an essential component for the proper functioning of the vehicle; it detects the rotation speed of the crankshaft and sends the signal to the ECU, which uses the data for various functions. In the attached video, you can see where it is located in the Opel Corsa B. If you need to replace it, you can access it from the top of the engine bay or, more conveniently, from underneath after lifting the car. The sensor, identifiable by its shape and distinctive connector, is positioned near the left driveshaft.
