Everyone agrees that it is at least strange that experienced mechanics have caused damage by recharging an air conditioning system only to that specific model and not to other Nissan models. Evidently there was an error in the design or construction of the system. But despite the many letters of protest sent by various users, Nissan did not consider it appropriate to proceed with a recall campaign, leaving the cost of the repair to be entirely borne by the users.
