How to fix a tailgate problem on a 2008 Buick Enclave?

Answer

If you have a locking problem with your tailgate on your Buick Enclave you will need to act manually. From the rear seats, you will need to lower them and see if anything is stuck preventing the tailgate lock from opening. If there is apparently nothing, then you will have to remove a round plastic cover that protects the lock and, using your hands or a tool, try to open the hatch by unlocking the mechanism. This is if, when you open with the centralized key, all the other doors except the trunk are opened.
