Answer

The malfunction of the Cadillac CTS's anti-theft system appears to be a recurring problem. Specifically, as soon as the key is inserted to start the engine, the system remains active and it is no longer possible to remove it from the ignition lock. This malfunction is often caused by the failure of the "ECM" module, ie the engine control module, and therefore must be replaced. In any case, the failure of the ignition lock itself, an element to be inspected together with the ECM module, cannot be ruled out.
