The 2011 Cadillac CTS is generally a good car but some owners have complained of a weakness in the drive shaft which, after about 30,000 miles, needs to be replaced. Sometimes just one pin, sometimes the whole drive shaft. When the transmission shaft is malfunctioning, various warnings can be had: vibrations transmitted to the steering wheel and which have repercussions on the whole car, it shows an untruthful speed, it is unable to execute the steering wheel commands to turn. In these cases it is advisable to go to a workshop immediately.
