The first thing the owner did was check if it could be due to the battery by turning on the lights (which were very bright) and checking for corrosion on the terminals. None of this was the issue; he also tried to smell for burnt odors, but everything seemed fine. He then checked the fuse box, and everything appeared normal. At this point, it could either be the starter, which he had already replaced the year before, or the ignition motor. After replacing the starter, the car started again.
