How do you reset the Service light on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta?

The Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta can be reset by turning on the instrument panel and then connecting a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: this port will be located at the bottom left of the steering column. Once the scanner is connected, it will be necessary to select the model of the car in question and the corresponding version; by doing so, the errors that cause the Service light to come on can be reset by following the on-screen instructions.
