Changing the motor oil of an Aprilia SXR 50 is a fundamental operation to keep the engine in good condition. Start by placing the scooter on a flat and stable surface. It is advisable to use a center stand to ensure that it is well balanced. Before proceeding, slightly warm up the engine, as warm oil flows more easily. Once warmed up, turn off the engine and let it cool for a few minutes. Next, locate the oil drain plug, usually located on the engine crankcase. Place a container under the plug to collect the used oil. Using a wrench, loosen the plug and let the oil flow completely into the container. Once the oil is fully drained, tighten the drain plug, making sure it is securely fastened. At this point, prepare the new motor oil, choosing a product suitable for your scooter's specifications. Open the oil tank cap, usually located above the engine, and slowly pour in the new oil until reaching the recommended amount. After adding the oil, close the cap and start the engine for a moment. This will help the oil circulate in the engine. Finally, check for any leaks under the scooter and make sure everything is in order.
