Start by positioning a container underneath the scooter, then locate the drain hole bolt and loosen it with a socket spanner. Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then remove the secondary filter and clean it of any residues.

At this point, simply replace the main filter, reassemble everything, and pour in the new oil through the designated hole.

How to Replace the Gear Oil of the Piaggio Vespa PX 125

To replace the gear oil of the Piaggio Vespa PX 125, loosen the drain plug of the oil reservoir located at the bottom of the transmission casing on the right side of the scooter. Once the plug is loosened, collect all the used oil in a suitably positioned container until it has completely drained. Now, top up the oil through the breather located on the transmission casing using a pump. After adding the new oil, you can start the engine to check that everything is functioning properly.
