In today’s tutorial video, you will see the instructions for removing and replacing the transmission belt and variator on the Piaggio MP3 400 scooter, as well as the 500 model. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and begin unscrewing the fixing screws of the transmission cover; then unscrew the nut of the fan and clutch bell to remove the transmission belt and variator, as shown in the video.

At this point, replace the components with new ones using original spare parts; simply reassemble everything by applying the reverse procedure!
