This guide provides the main instructions on how to remove and replace the variator and the drive belt of the Piaggio MP3 400 scooter. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and begin unscrewing the fixing screws of the left side cover to access the internal transmission; then unscrew the central nut of the fan and clutch bell, as shown in the video. Now remove the drive belt, followed by the variator; replace the components and reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!

How to Change the Speed Unit on the Piaggio Mp3
If the speed displayed on your Piaggio Mp3 is in a unit of measurement different from your preference, simply follow this mini guide to change it independently. First, start this procedure with the bike completely off. Then, press and hold the "Mode" button on the right knob for about three seconds and turn on the display.
