In this guide, we will see the main instructions on how to disassemble and replace the variator and transmission belt of the Piaggio MP3 400 scooter. First, we put our scooter on the center stand and start unscrewing the fixing screws of the left side cover, thus accessing the internal part of the transmission; then we unscrew the central nut of the fan and clutch bell, as shown in the video. Now we remove the transmission belt, then remove the variator; replace the components and reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!

How to change the gearbox oil of the Piaggio Vespa Px 125 - Lml Star 125

Today we will see, in this short and simple guide, how to replace the transmission oil of the Piaggio Vespa Px 125, but also of the Lml Star 125 2-stroke. First of all we put the central stand and we start to unscrew the oil vent bolt of the transmission, which we find on the right side casing; to do this we use a 10 mm socket wrench, letting the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler screw, in order to let the oil flow more quickly; then we finally top up, following the video to the end!
