How to Remove the Rear Light Cluster from an Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013
Part: Tail light

To replace the rear light cluster on an Audi A3, first open the tailgate of the boot. Once done, locate a slot on the side of the light to be removed, corresponding to the position of the light itself, where you will find the bolt securing the light in place (as illustrated in the images). Using the appropriate spanner, unscrew the bolt and remove the rear light cluster from its housing. Before completely detaching it from the car, disconnect the electrical connector. After this, you can remove the plastic block containing the bulb holders by unlocking the 4 clips that hold it in place. This way, you will have access to the bulbs, which you can then replace if necessary.
