To remove the outside rearview mirror on the Audi A4, use a tool like a screwdriver to pry the mirror glass from its housing inside the shell: once detached, you can loosen all the screws inside. This will allow you to detach the remaining part of the mirror from its mount and disconnect the corresponding connector: then insert the new mirror into its place to connect it to the connector and secure it with the appropriate screws.
