Below we will see step-by-step instructions on how to disassemble and replace the external rearview mirror of the Audi A4. First, we open the front door of the vehicle and start unscrewing all the fixing screws we find on the sides of it; then we remove the window switch panel, disconnecting the electrical connector underneath. At this point, we unscrew the screws of the external rearview mirror, disconnecting the closing and adjustment connector to remove the mirror from the outside; we replace it with the new one, finally adjusting the angle of the glass.
