Removing Air Vents on Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 MK 2, C5 - Years 1997-2004

As shown in the video, the air vents are secured by two lower clips (one for each vent) and two upper clips (one for each). To remove the vents, disengage these clips by pushing down on the two upper ones and lifting the two lower ones. You can test this by moving them with a small flathead screwdriver. That said, insert any object that fits inside each clip to release it: you can use a small Allen wrench, a small screwdriver, whatever you have. Once done, insert a plastic wedge into the gap around the vent and remove it.
