Descriptive guide for replacing the engine oil and oil filter on a BMW K75. Obtain 4 litres of Bardahl XTC C60 20W50 oil, a copper washer with an inner diameter of 18.5mm, an HIFLO HF163 oil filter, and a 76mm Mahle oil filter wrench. Position the bike on its centre stand. Start the engine, allow it to reach temperature, and then turn it off. Place a container for the used oil under the engine. From the right side of the bike, unscrew the oil plug located under the engine using a ratchet and a 9mm Allen socket. Allow the oil to drain and clean the plug thoroughly. To access the oil filter, unscrew the round cover with a 6mm Allen socket. Using the cup wrench, unscrew the oil filter located inside. Lubricate the seal of the new filter with oil and screw it on. Screw the oil drain plug back in with the new copper washer. Unscrew the oil filler cap located on the oil tank on the right side, front fairing. Pour in the oil using a small funnel (the manufacturer states oil and filter require 3.75 litres).
