How do you replace the air filter on the BMW F 850 GS?

In order to replace the air filter on the BMW F 850 GS you have to loosen the screws that secure the saddle, so that it can be completely removed. Once this has been extracted, it will be possible to unscrew the screws below, so that the fuel tank cover is removed giving access to the components below. Here will be the old filter, which will need to be removed from its housing, replacing it with a new one. After the filter has been replaced, the tank cover can be re-fitted and the saddle can also be attached.
