To replace the chain on the BMW F850, first, detach the plastic cover above the sprocket; once this is removed, loosen the nuts securing the rear wheel's central axle and unscrew the bolts holding the brake caliper. When all these components are removed, you can completely take off the wheel from the rear swingarm and consequently slide the chain off the respective sprockets. At this point, you can insert the new chain, allowing you to reassemble all previously removed components.
