Let's see how to replace the interior rearview mirror of a Chevrolet Corvette C7: we have a plastic cover that needs to be removed, by inserting a small screwdriver and gently prying on one side. We then disconnect the electrical connector. Then we need to take a screwdriver of suitable size, align it in the holes at the bottom of the mirror and turn it clockwise; the youtuber warns us that some force is needed. Be careful because now it will literally fall to the ground. To put it back in place we will have to do the reverse process, always with the same screwdriver, turning counterclockwise, and it will not start to fit until we are halfway there; at that point we will hear a click and the mirror will be in place.
