Today we will explain how to remove the plastic cover of the external rearview mirror of a Citroen C5 Aircross. To remove the mirror, we need to use a plastic tool for removal that will not damage the bodywork during the process. We insert the tool between the mirror and the cover to remove the glass. Then, we insert the tool between the central body and the outer part to remove the plastic cover. Once we have removed the plastic cover, we can perform any necessary maintenance operations such as replacing the central body, replacing the side strip bulb, and so on. The assembly process is done in reverse without the use of any tools as the pieces will fit together.
