To remove the door panel of a Cupra Leon, start by using a plastic tool to pry under the window control switch panel, remove the electrical connectors by gently prying inside the connectors themselves, and then remove the screw inside the exposed compartment. Next, use a larger tool to pry all around the door to release the clips holding the panel in place around the perimeter, starting from the bottom. Remove the chrome trim at the bottom of the door armrest so that the leather-covered part can be removed: underneath, you will find a screw. Unscrew it and then pull the panel upwards, which is now free. Disconnect the electric window connector and the panel can be removed.
