Replacing Gear Knob on Renault and Dacia

In this simple tutorial, you will learn how to remove the gear knob on Renault and Dacia models. Get into the vehicle and detach the gear gaiter by prying at the sides with something pointed and thin; then, to remove the gear knob, pull upwards with force or strike from below to extract it along with the gaiter, as shown in the video. Next, remove the old knob from the gaiter and fit the new one, then reassemble everything onto the gear lever: follow the video to the end!
