The engine oil drain hole on this scooter is located at the bottom but not in the centre; it is on the left side. Unscrew the bolt that acts as the drain plug, but only after warming the engine for a few minutes. While collecting the used oil in a container, unscrew the oil filter and replace it with a new one (lubricate the O-ring before inserting it to avoid instant breakage). Be careful as a bit of oil will also come out when you remove the filter. Synthetic oil 10W-40 is recommended to fill through the fill hole.
