Today, you will learn a very simple maintenance task: replacing the front brake pads on a Ducati X Diavel. First, get an Allen key and unscrew the two bolts that secure the brake caliper to the disc, as clearly shown in the video. If the bolts are too tight to unscrew by hand, use a pipe as an extension. With any suitable tool, such as a crowbar and a medium flat-head screwdriver, widen the slots of the pads and remove them. Insert the new pads, which will obviously be thicker, and reattach the caliper to the brake disc.
