To replace the transmission on a Kymco XTown 300, loosen the screws securing the transmission cover located on the left side of the bike near the rear wheel: this will allow you to access the underlying components. Remove the clutch and variator from their housing by unscrewing the central nut and also removing the drive belt around them. At this point, you can insert all the new replacement parts, securing them appropriately and then covering everything with the designated cover.

How to replace the engine oil in the Kawasaki Versys 1000?
