In order to replace the piston of the Derbi GPR 125, you need to loosen the screws that secure the cylinder head to its housing, so that it can be removed along with the valve cover: this way you can loosen the screws that secure the cylinder in the top of the engine, removing it completely and thus identifying the underlying piston. This can now be freed from the appropriate fastening screws, so that it is possible to place the new piston on the corresponding connecting rod; after installation, the engine can be closed again.
