To replace the piston on the Suzuki RM-Z 250, loosen the bolts that secure the engine head laterally so that it can be removed. Before removing the engine head, disconnect the ignition cable and remove the corresponding spark plug. This will make the piston inside the engine visible, which can be freed from its connecting rod by sliding out the pin and removing the retaining ring. At this point, you can insert the new piston, securing it properly and then reassembling all the components that were removed earlier.
