To replace the piston of the Suzuki RM-Z 450, loosen all the bolts securing the engine block to its housing in the centre of the frame. Once the bolts are loosened, the engine can be removed, allowing you to access the cylinder by loosening its mounting bolts. The cylinder can now be removed from its housing, detaching the piston from the corresponding connecting rod. Remove the pin and the corresponding circlip. Insert the new piston, reassembling all the components in reverse order.
