How do you replace the piston of the Suzuki RM-Z 450?

In order to replace the piston of the Suzuki RM-Z 450, you need to loosen all the screws that secure the engine block of the vehicle to its housing in the center of the frame. By loosening the screws, the engine can be removed, allowing you to then loosen the fastening screws of the cylinder. The cylinder can now be removed from its housing, so that the piston can be detached from the corresponding connecting rod: you will need to remove the pin and the corresponding locking ring as well. In this way, you can insert the new piston, fully assembling all the removed components.

First of all we turn on the ignition of our scooter, turning the electronic key to position one; after which we go to press and hold the button that we find at the top right, as in the video, until the oil change light is reset. So we just have to turn off the ignition and start the engine, checking that the oil change light has reset correctly!
